Worn out paving slabs

The surface on our patio slabs has worn out. Is there a way to bring them back to life or do we need to lay new slabs? They've been down for about 20 years.

Thanks for the reply but that won't work as they're made of some sort of composite material and the finished surface is one side only. The photo shows a slice through one of them. I'm pretty sure they're Marshalls but not sure exactly what type.
