Would this Velcro tape be suitable for fixing mats to carpets?

As per title we have some mats laid on top of carpets fixed with double-sided tape. The mats stay in position for a couple of weeks and then they decide to go walkabout. Would this type of tape be effective in keeping the damn things in position? Thanks for any help.

Best anti-Slip product I have come across is Foxi Anti-Slip from Ratcliffe Underlays, super effective and won't damage the flooring underneath, the more surface area you cover, the more effective it is.
