Yellow marks around window frames

Hi,

Our new build property is 3 years old and I have discovered that most of the windows have this yellow mark where the UPVC has been against the black seal. I have tried using PVC cleaner but it won’t budge. Is this a fault with the window frames? And what can I do to remove the marks?

Which uPVC cleaner did you use, water or solvent based?

Where I am currently working, the window fitters used Soudal solvent based cleaner to remove excess foam from the frames. I would expect that to remove your marks, but I cannot definitively say it will.
