Win11 and Firefox (seems to be all browsers), and it has just started doing this...
If I see a link to a Youtube video, and click on it, Youtube appears as normal, with a small version of the video, plus a selection of other videos, on the screen. All as normal, but - if I click on the small version of the video, to play it, the video disappears - the area of screen it was in, just shows empty white space.
If I simply go direct to the website, and search for a video I can then play them without an issue, or click on any of the videos which appear on the first page of Youtube. If a Youtube video is embedded into a webpage, they too play fine.
Anyone else come across this/found a fix?
