Hi All,
I am after some detailing guidance with regards the interface between a stone Z slip plinth adhered to blockwork up to DPC, abutting a render finish above DPC.
The wall I am building will be dense concrete block (it is not built yet). The stone slips I am thinking of using are 25mm thick, and I need to allow for adhesive (6mm). The render will be 20mm. I would prefer the render to be inline vertically with the stone outer face, but I don't really want to set the outer blocks above DPC with a 10mm or so overhang. I would rather build the block wall fully flush vertically. I am therefore thinking I can push the render out slightly at the interface using bellcast drip such as the one below. Does anyone know if you can get these stop beads to protrude 35 or 40mm? I am struggling to find any.
Many thanks.
