My washing machine is making lot of noise during spin cycle

The drum is shaking so I think it is the bearing so I decided to take the bearing out and replace it along with a seal. I took it apart and struck at taking the bearing. Any advice on how to take the bearing out of the rear drum is useful, thanks

Here is the image of the rear drum

It looks like a double bearing with flange.....the shaft with the flats on has to be pushed out and then the bearing drifted out from the back (I guess!)
John :)

You will need to remove the drum first, the back bearing in your picture is fine, if it is the bearing and not the drum support it will be the large front one not visible in your picture. Screw the pulley bolt fully back onto the shaft and either knock the drum out of the rear half or drop it onto a block of wood with the bolt head hitting on the wooden block. You can get the rear half with the two bearings and seal fitted but you will need to get the drum out which may or may not reveal a broken support.

Thank you both for the reply

Tomorrow morning I will try to take the pulley bolt from the drum. I will try to unscrew if not working I will need to hit it with a wooden plank

Hopefully it would come off

I hit the pulley with a hammer with a wooden plank in between

It came off, the inner bearing is totally broken

I have ordered new set of inner and outer bearings, also the bearing seal from zanussi

Broken bearing

Be sure you can get the remains of the old bearing off the shaft, might need an angle grinder. Don't want to put a downer on your efforts but a new shaft would be recommended which comes with the drum and is very expensive.

I took the remains of the old bearing from the spindle with the help of WD 40 and a screwdriver

Waiting for the new bearings to arrive

So the new bearings and seal arrived. I have put them in the outer drum.

The spindle is clear but it is not coming out on the backside of the outer drum

I need to hit the drum hard but I am bit worried I may break or dent the inner drum
