I would like to install and paint a pegboard white. The pegboard hasn't arrived yet, but I think it is made of hardboard. Is spray paint OK? Do I need to prime it first? I've seen some suggest priming with a car priming spray. Is that OK (I thought car primer would be for metal)? Thank you.
