45 degree bend in soil pipe run.

Sorry to resurrect such an old thread. But I’m considering adding a downstairs toilet where it’s not practical to connect to the existing soil pipe. The pipe run is the same as in your photo with the new drop into a rest bend mid run.

The issue is the pipe runs slight to close to the wall to have the rest bend connect to a 45 Y. Would it be acceptable to use a 45 Y then a single socket 45 to allow the rest bend to be placed parallel to the main pipe run? Or if not a 30, to increase the space available?

That should work. Might need half a metre or so between the rest bend and the next angle to allow the waste to flow better.
