Accenta G4 System

Looks like the green and blue come from different cables which suggests there is more than one device on zone 1

Guessing one of them was formerly zone 3 but somebody couldnt be bothered to RTFM to find out how to change it to entry/exit

Zone 1 appears to be using green and blue.

But on your door contact had white core connected in your photo.

so either they are joined elsewhere around the house on a different scheme or the door contact wires are a red herring, when you removed the door contact cover you should have been able to see what wires were connected at the door contact?

the other zones appear to have used yellow and blue.

I pulled the contact and dislodged the other cable before I remembered to take a picture :-(

I'll get back in the panel and trace zone 1 wires back.

Thanks for your help with this !

If I take the cables out of zone one, will this at least allow me to set the alarm for the time being untill I can resolve this?

Looking at the cables on the picture.. I'm not home. It looks like the 2 cables in Zone one come from different sleeves.. ?

realistically if no one is in the house what zones are active when checked?

ie front door/ living room

if living room wasn't active until you opened the door contact the chances are there is a join which represents the living room sensor. If you eliminate that pair, then hopefully what you have left should be the contact pair.

Twist the green and white together at the location of the door contact. If this doesnt work there is either a break in the cable or the other device on zone 1 is open circuit

I can see white and green were tamper and blue and yellow zones normally.

can see the tamper was compromised and linked out blue cable, so maybe there was a wire damage and the tamper was sacrificed and the zones linked together.

not sure why your seeing front door and living room as technically all zones not in use appear to be linked out. Do you have a zone list?

I can't get my head around this.. Two different cables go into Zone 1 green and blue.. then white and yellow appear to be joined..?

I've tried doing that at the contact and it says fault still

Says zone 1 is bedroom.. but no sensors in bedrooms.. only :

Door contact
Utility
Kitchen
Living room
Landing
