Having never drawn anything like that before, looking at the way others have drawn it is definitely easier to understand! - every day is a school day!

If I'm interpreting 'switch drop to each end' correctly, that was the way I'd understood it.

Thanks again to everyone, massively appreciate the input!
 
The 'switchdrop' is the cable between the light and the switch
