Any way to connect multiple Sirens/SABs to an alarm panel?

Depending on the power your using you may get an SAB on there without a PSU.

For example door contacts don’t draw much power, motion detectors can vary but don’t use much and use more if they are dual techs or multiple sensors in one unit. Network is 1A. so if you have 600mA or so to spare th at a about SAB draw in full alarm on a Non E version Odyssey.

You need to look at what your putting on the system to work it out.

for example you can have a lot of bell boxes connected it’s only when you need to fire them off the alarm, that the bell box load makes any real difference.

So at the end of the day, if it’s a system in your average 3 bedroom house, then you could get away with two SABs (front and rear) just on the panel alone. However if you’re running a house and a few outbuildings, if you want multiple SABs then a PSU expander is needed since you’ll have more detectors, keypads etc.

For simplicity pretty much yes.

But it is where you take power from.

Two SABs will exceed 1A.
So you need to take power from two places.
Bell terminals and say DC+- with a 1A inline fuse.

The metal panels also have a bigger psu than the poly panels.

You have to look at everything you want on the system and then work out where your getting the power from.
