When I first started posting on GD I remarked that I was looking for a civilised discussion. One of the regulars told me "You've come to the wrong place". It's probably not possible on boards like this. I very much enjoy what I use it for. I have occasionally experienced the pile on, though, and it is disconcerting.

I just wish people would discuss things on here like they would in real life!
