Yes , it is an alternate universe,when Israels biggest supporters today are the far right and other toy town Nazis.

I suppose this phenomenon can be explained by the old adage "The enemy of my enemy is my friend".
With Islamaphobia at an all time high, its easy to see the UK and Israel as being on the same side in the war against Islamic fundamentalism.

High because its a very justified fear.
