Boiler wiring help wanted, please; Vokera Linea 28HE to Drayton LP711

You would be better fitting a stat rather than a timer, trvs are not a good way of controlling a boiler.
you can only advise, but some people don't want to take that advice even thou it is a better option:)

Hahaha, I'm sure it is a better option and in any other situation I would do that. Sadly, where I'd want the thermostate is on the other side of the property and I have no means of running the cable. I also do not have the money for a wireless one, unless there is a direction you can point me?

(Timeclock and cables were free)

Just had a look at your picture again.

You could (maybe should) take the L&N connections to the LP711 from 3d and 2d in the boiler. Thats the handy power terminal for the internal clock.

Not bothering with a cpc then?

Ahhh, I don't know what this is. Is this something I should do?

Edit:circuit protective conductor. I only had the 2 core, but I will now hunt down something else. I'm super paranoid.

Excellent, thats what I did. It's what I thought you meant :)

I earthed L&N from the time clock to the boiler on the earth block.

It all worked, timer came on last night and this morning so all looks like it is working.

Thank you for the help. Its much appreciated.
