In whose interests does it serve for Britain to be governed by international courts and bodies.?
In whose interests does it serve to be governed by the British govt, whose constitution is weak and our politicians are influenced heavily by lobby groups

International courts and bodies help protect British citizens against our dodgy governments

So the negotiations are not ongoing (is that a lie or just unaware of the facts)
Nothing seems to off the table as far as starmers concerned.

Fishing rights have nothing to do with the rights of where to fish...its how the quotas are sold as a commodity on the open market, any country can bid for them, its a case of having the biggest market and the infrastructure to fish at a competitive rate.

France supports its fishermen by using the EU aquaculture legislation to subsidy things like...fuel costs, national rate of fish prices...eg when prices are low the french pay the difference between the set rate and the low market rate, fish markets are nil band for business rates etc etc...we could have done that but opted out for the cheaper option of just making money on flogging off the family silver...

Boris Johnson only made a fuss about Ukraine to boost his poll ratings
The wars taking place though isn't it and France will be glad what input we put into it if it saves calling on the French resistance then

So you think the UK could threaten to withhold help to Ukraine as leverage against the EU

yeah thats really going to help UK on the International stage :ROFLMAO:

Good point well brought up.
Good of the eu to bring in legislation to make that smooth transition.
it is a good point

you said: why cant we take back control of our fishing

the answer is = because we sold over half of it

and your argument is: Its not fair the UK was given the opportunity to flog off its fishing quotas whilst EU nations retained theirs...and bought ours

So the negotiations are not ongoing

Brexit is done. We resigned and gave up our rights. Brexit negotiation is ended.

Now the Brexers are on their way out, some sensible grown-ups have to clear up the mess and make the best they can of the omnishambles for the good of the nation.

Since brexit we have had the opportunity to invest in British Fishing and British farming...but brexit wasnt about doing good for the country, it was about vested interests for Tufton street ghouls

Its such a shame we dont support our agriculture more -

Good of the eu to bring in legislation to make that smooth transition.
It was first introduced in 2011...when we were a member and could have taken part... nothing to do with transition...it was all us, just talk of supporting fishermen..the most shocking thing is that 20% of the western approaches fish quota is owned by 1 boat that never puts to sea... just traded its rights on the secondary market...can you guess who to..Bon as they put it...

What was the name of that British politician, elected as an MEP, was a member of the fisheries Committee for three years, but only turned up to one out of 42 meetings, but drew the pay and was completely useless?

Nigel something?

Porridge? Garage? Fartarse?

This tw@

That's Brexers for you.
