"Billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe has told Sky News that Britain is ready for a change of government after scolding the Conservatives over their handling of the economy and immigration after Brexit.

While insisting his petrochemicals conglomerate INEOS is apolitical, Sir Jim backed Brexit and spent last weekend with Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer at Manchester United"

"Sir Jim was a prominent backer of leaving the European Union in the 2016 referendum but now has issues with how Brexit was delivered by Tory prime ministers.

"Brexit sort of unfortunately didn't turn out as people anticipated because… Brexit was largely about immigration"

No sh*t sherlock

Rouse up the xenophobes/racists and you can deflect from home grown problems...

Linky Linky

Of course if any brexiteer can tell us of a single brexit benefit, feel free to contradict this leading 'guru' of yours ;)

I think the brexxers view taking back control as a (theoretical) success in itself, even though the global economy and international trade deals continue to dominate our way of life.

Considering that, after all the fake excuses in favour of Brexit, the only one the gullible masses wanted to cling to was immigration - it's been a resounding failure.

Brexit - total pile of shít.

He's still NOT against Brexit, just the way its been handled. At least that’s cleared that up. Another non-story from cry baby Lal.

Absolutely. Brexit isn’t delivering because the government has failed rather than brexit.
The government failed before brexit.

Brexit was supposed to sort everything out. And it's failed, but it's done. Apart from lots of important details of course. But no benefits in sight

I’m surprised a businessman like you thinks considerably increasing trade barriers with your closest trade partner is somehow an opportunity.

Brexit was only ever a vehicle to create opportunities for disaster capitalists, tax dodging billionaires etc to make money out of the chaos.

I’m sorry but making excuses for brexit by blaming the govt won’t wash

Rees-Mogg wisely set up business in RoI to escape some of the Brexit damage.
