I think the brexxers view taking back control as a (theoretical) success in itself, even though the global economy and international trade deals continue to dominate our way of life.

Considering that, after all the fake excuses in favour of Brexit, the only one the gullible masses wanted to cling to was immigration - it's been a resounding failure.

Brexit was supposed to sort everything out. And it's failed, but it's done. Apart from lots of important details of course. But no benefits in sight

I’m surprised a businessman like you thinks considerably increasing trade barriers with your closest trade partner is somehow an opportunity.

Brexit was only ever a vehicle to create opportunities for disaster capitalists, tax dodging billionaires etc to make money out of the chaos.
