Can a bad exhaust temp sensor cause engine overheat message and misfire ?

New sensor and software update required as this is a known issue with these vehicles.Engine Oil Level Ok. Coolant Level Ok. Do not drive vehicle away from garage ,new sensor and update required.

Take note of that bit from the report you posted

Get rid. A poor choice of car for use as an urban delivery vehicle. What's wrong with the ubiquitous Yaris? There's a reason everyone else is using them. By many accounts, that 2.0 diesel isn't even economical.

I didn't buy it to use as a delivery car, I got the job a year later.
That's mainly why I just bought a second car a 2010 1.6 hdi Citroen C5 to do deliveries in but it needs a little suspension work atm

And idk, the insignia doesn't seem very economical at all considering its an eco flex " and tax exempt.
It's listed at 62.4 mpg urban, realistically I'm seeing snout 36 mpg atm

Maybe the dpf is blocked?
don’t trust AA men and diagnostic machines, they just guess and want to move on as quickly as possible.
