Carpentry/maintenance job in hospital

Traditionally joiners actually did build coffins. Been there! Until 20 years ago we still had a fairly local firm who advertised themselves as "joiners and undertakers" - the two trades went together. I don't think a maintenance bod would be asked to do that, though (make coffins OR do undertaking)

My old gaffer actually used to have his own coffin stood at the back of the workshop, covered with a tarpaulin...
