I bought an led ceiling light, dimmable.

The colour wires are as follows:
-yellow/green wire : I assume its earth, it is screwed out separately to the unit.
-white
-grey

I don't know which is live and which is neutral between the white and grey.
I understood white and grey as both being neutral so i really don't know what is what in this case.

(there are no instructions)

Any help would be appreciated.

White is usually a live, the grey neutral, cheap unit from China, so may not last long.

Its definitely grey and white in that photo, now i've been looking the internet for answers i have also seen other LED lights with grey and white wiring.

I can't say if that picture was correctly wired, it came for a sellers advert.

its a bit of a mystery, I cant find any definitive answers online.

At least yours came with some kind of earthing.
