We do a lot of cutting. A 9" angle grinder armed with a decent blade will do the job adequately. Granted, there are advantages to having a 12" cutter especially when cutting out wall openings. However, the reason site boys opt for a Stihl is the fact they are NOT corded. Kind of wondering where your corded fella would fit in...?Y, but half the price of a stihl petrol cutter and does pretty much the same job. I have the slightly earlier model and its really handy if you have a lot of cutting to do.
