What's the difference ? If the drain is say 2 metres away from the new install, would it have to be moved ? But then isn't that council property ?Normally a drain would be put in and then the waste connected to that.
The difference in this case, is between running a narrow waste pipe carrying kitchen waste horizontally across and within a floor, compared to installing a drain under the floor at the correct fall and capacity. What's the difference ? Understood. Is there a requirement for the angle of the fall ?The difference in this case, is between running a narrow waste pipe carrying kitchen waste horizontally across and within a floor, compared to installing a drain under the floor at the correct fall and capacity.
Kitchen waste drains, especially those linked to dishwashers and washing machines are quick to block up. We always strive to make those pipe runs as short as possible by bringing the 110mm drain as close to the sink as possible. This is usually achieved with a trapped gully just outside from the sink.Understood. Is there a requirement for the angle of the fall ?
