There one size fits all, they aren’t standard screws either they have a tapered edge

Yes Hollow

The fittings are placed between two boards with a gap in between for the fastener linked above.

it’s a small opening to get anything in like a dowel or toothpicks as I can’t trim them with the space available

so do the screws pass through a dividing partition in the profile or just throught the say 3mm thick surface ??

we need the joist it goes into and grips rather than what it is securing thanks
a 6mm screw hole is very big so you need the biggest plug probably a yellow or red to try and get stuck in the top surface off the joist and get it to grip a brown would be perfect [a 5.5-6.5mm hole]but may struggle to knock it through
pumping in all sorts off carp will probably fail as you need it to solidify in the area around the screw hole to give grip
as an aside what is under the joist ??

Ground under the joist, it’s suspended of the floor a couple of feet

what is the actual profile off the joist??
if you insert a screw into one off those "T" clamp bits what sticks out is it all thread and no shaft ??

perhaps a longer screw to stick through the bottom assuming the base is thick enough and wont just split??

Not sure that will work

I’ll try wood filler again today, as it worked on a few other holes yday, just this one had too many to screw back into.

if not I’ll get someone to replace that section
