Electric, wall socket question, extension

I've never heard that term, are u saying that it's common place in the UK?

Ah ok, I know what you mean now, I actually have one of these,
One of these whats?

however that would only be of use to one appliance plug end, it's never a good idea to stick a multi four or more extension to one of those trailers, but it would help if I need it for using at another part of the lounge.
What are you talking about?

You asked about extension leads which are also called trailing sockets - which Astra shortened to 'trailers'.
You can get them with different numbers of sockets.

If you'd care to read my posts you'll notice that I've already mentioned these as per your image.

And the link you shared doesn't bring up the same as that image, it brings up the one plug long lead extension.

Apologies, Just Google "Trailing sockets"

This is what I linked - as Daleks asked if trailing sockets was a common name -

I dont know how to do the screengrabs you do,
https://wisdom-soft.com/ - having grabbed an image you can just paste it into your post inline with CTRL-V, no farting about with {IMG} tags.

Also of use is the https://postimages.org/app Windoze tool - it traps Alt-Print-Screen and allows you to crop and annotate the image, then upload that and get an image URL you can use in a post. Or, as I usually do, use Screen Hunter to grab the annotated image and paste it.

Will use four sockets on the first extension and two on the other rather than using a six appliance extension at once.
