Extractor fan vent tile in hanging tiles

It does have a bulky oblong spigot adaptor which connects to extractor fan ducting. The description also says it’s suitable for mechanical ventilation but I checked with their technical support too. Some designs have cowls but not all. Am I missing something here?

As long as you have the space to make it work and can mitigate any issues regards problems with condensation (frost?), rain and securely fixing the tiles etc, crack on.
