F75 Vaillant ecto tech 350f, Plumbing or Boiler Fault

No.
I do mind the F75 it influences if i call another plumber or Vaillant under guarantee. Please can new posters read the original post, not the digression.

Listen missie, The F75 issue is an irritation to you and can be sorted under warranty if your installer has done his job right...If that pump is connected to that boiler in any way, then the resulting flood will have you in tears..

Its less about flooding, the suction in the water main could introduce sewage into the public water supply

I'm assuming that the pump is a shower pump connected to the cold or hot water circuit... This post is a bit disjointed.. From what I can understand, the heating pressure when measured is 2.7 bar and the pressure sensor is showing a completely different pressure... Is this what you understand..?

Hello, i think if i just re-post my original query. The whole thread has gone astray

Hello, I had a new Vaillant ECO TEC PLUS 831 installed in April, since October it has broken 4x with a F75 code. FAULT PUMP/WATER SHORTAGE
The boiler is still under guarantee another 9 years and the plumber/installers work is also, but i have no written confirmation of that.
The problem is, the plumber will not respond to any of my calls and messages any more and i have been without hot water and heating for a week. He has always been incredibly unreliable, not showing up when he's said without informing me etc after the initial installation.
If it is a boiler issue Vaillant will fix the boiler for free, however they won't touch a plumbing issue and i would have to pay a £90 call out charge then for nothing.
So i don't know whether to risk calling out Vaillant or call a different plumber. As i don't know where the problem lies.
Old boiler, no plumbing/pressure problems but needed replacing after 15 years, had tank in attic.
So far, with this Vaillant first fault was F28 - ignition, water pressure was low, taps were turned to re-pressurize. Had a leaking Rad, plumber put radiator sealant to temporarily seal it before rad was changed. (he didn't turn up to do this) But leak is still holding.
F75 x4 faults
F75 First time, turned boiler taps no water was being let into the system. Plumber came after a week, did something. Fixed for 2 weeks.
F75 - I turned boiler taps (probably the wrong thing to do), boiler leaked quite a bit. Plumber came leak on boiler stopped, worked 2 weeks.
F75 fixed, broke within 2 hours of plumber leaving.
F75 current problem
The water pressure in the Sink taps is good with and without the extra/external electric pump. Hot water not as good when bath runs without pump.

Pressure on hand held monitor and boiler reads 2.7 now. With the F28 the boiler read 2.7 on both too, however the actual pressure was bellow 1 apparently. I realize this is quite high but the plumber said that this high reading was OK, and that the devices weren't communicating a correct pressure.
While the boiler was working, the pressure used to read 3. It never let out the "bang" pressure over flow.

I do not have any other information I'm afraid. I can only assume if it was a boiler problem the plumber would have left it to Valiant? or not... who knows.
So two questions, is it likely to be a plumbing or boiler problem? As in who do we call?
Also is there anything that can be done about the unreliable plumber? Because calling a different one will incur fresh costs.
Many thanks in advance for any information and help.

.

Why bother re posting the original question. It still contains the same disturbing information. If you are not willing to listen to the advice you have received then good luck to you.

You have been told. There are much more important issues to do with your combi install that you should be prioritising way above the f75 issue.

Instead of just repeating what you have already typed, perhaps you could help yourself by answering our questions...
Your F75 issue is a problem with the boiler and provided that your installer has fitted the boiler correctly, Vaillant should repair it for you.. Please clarify where the hand held monitor (I assume that you mean pressure gauge) was attached to. Also please clarify where the pump is fitted and to what pipes....It appears that the Salamander RSP75 pump that you have fitted is a twin impeller shower pump. If it is fitted to the mains cold supply or the hot outlet from your combi, then you are headed for a major issue in the future, this may well make your F75 issue seem like a minor irritation.

Can you post a picture of the boiler and pipework below it?

I think we can glean from the attitude above that there is a shower pump connected to the mains and whoever Delphine is, doesn't care what the potential impact is to them, their family, or other unconnected innocent households nearby. 1000s of people died in Victorian times because they drank infected water.

Clearly the mains water pressure is low or the eBay ST pump would not have been hooked up.

OP, this is against the bylaws and building regs for good reason. Typhoid etc.

Take it seriously. Remove it.

There is an indelible trace forever on this forum of your correspondence, so if something happens, you are already implicated.

I also suspect that there never was a plumber and the boiler was fitted on a dirty system...In my neck of the woods, we tend to have decent water pressure but restricted flow due to furred up lead pipes, so the fear is that the pressure will be too great for the shower pump's seals causing a leak or worse the pump body giving way under pressure..

Bearing in mind what the OP has stated regarding hot water flow rates @ certain hot outlets I would imagine the system to be an S/Y plan with boiler supplying hot water to kitchen sink with cylinder supplying all other hot outlets.
Using a pump to boost flow rate through this particular boiler (and others) will play havoc , burner modulation will be up and down like a yoyo with CO in flue gas through the roof.
I would think pump is being used to boost flow rates through gravity supplied hot and colds.
As for the f.75 issues.....either a boiler or system fault.
I guess the OP is going to have to take her chances with vaillant and hope it gets repaired under warranty , if the boiler/works carried out has been done to a good standard then she has nothing to worry about.

The Pump is fine, i have already said there is not a problem with it, the whole street and two surrounding were checked for Water purity by the Water Board before christmas, including internal fittings, systems and drains. Whilst my actual problem is only being addressed by few. A minor detail has been picked up and has been assumed. The F75 is the only problem.
