Not sure if anyone would agree but i'd make the roofing frame now and use the flooring joists now as a template. You can make small wedges to get the right fall. This way you don't have to use firrings. Just angle the end cuts on the timber.

if you use firings all your walls are level and any slope is fully within the roof and the final cladding
otherwise you have very complicated multi angled walls where every upright is different lengths and an angle to the top plate
 
I have done a Skethup design of how I think it's going to work. As you can see, I have firings, which are cut from 100mm to 0mm over 6m, so a 1 in 60 fall, all different lengths, but producing the same level fall.
