Get in Fruit and Veg prices to go up - another Brexit win

Weren't so long ago the usual suspects were getting their knickers in a twist over chlorinated chickens from America.
Give em a plate of green beef with with a few lashings of horse meat luvvverly.

But Americans regularly stuff their face with chicken washed in chlorinated water; covered in melted cheese and breadcrumbs. The bse scare from Dutch beef was over 20 years ago. I'd take my chances with the European standards rather than the free market fowl treated by Yanks.

You not awake yet? It's Britain that wants inspection of meat produce from the EU and we don't end up sampling green beef and the best cuts from trigger.

I'll just be looking at the label to see where the meat has come from. Nobody will be forced to eat it you know.

If sales are down and Trump is in then you will be forced to eat American meat.

Don't get hung up on 20 year old beef - best way to avoid all that is to Buy British. You know it makes sense.

Buut it's not all about that, it's a whole range of import checks and 'Health certificates will now be required on EU goods ranging from cut flowers, to fresh produce including fruit and vegetables.'

All this wouldn't be necessary if the UK hadn't left the Customs Union in the first place...and that wasn't mentioned in the referendum as i recall.

Most people voted out because no one was listening

So what your saying is we would be subject to lax EU standards.
Hasn't that been the case where you could trust British standards, then we had to go with that second rate kite mark from the EU, to get the backward countries into the game.
