Get ready to blame….

Oh dear more Brexit damage:

“extreme tory brexit which are destroying British farming. This includes trade deals which lower food standards in our market, and false labelling on food products (all perfectly legal). “

More Brexit damage

Food and drink industry sources have warned that the cost of the checks could fuel food inflation and that border delays may lead to perishable foods, some £18bn of which arrives in Britain from the EU each year, being spoiled even before reaching the shelves or their shelf life being reduced.

With just six weeks to go before new customs rules for foodstuffs entering Britain from the Continent start to be enforced at the end of April, importers and hauliers have complained of critical gaps in Britain’s new state-of-the-art customs system, ranging from “wholly inadequate” inspection facilities to a lack of clarity on issues including fees that could add as much as £1,200 to the cost of a single truckload of goods.

Double yawn.

Brexit the gift that keeps on giving

Mottie voted for Brexit red tape

28th March 2024

The knock-on effects of the additional red tape, in addition to travel delays during busier periods, could be “significant”, warned business group Logistics UK. It called for the government to clarify its post-Brexit border arrangements with the bloc.

“Despite ongoing representations to the government’s departments involved in the new border arrangements, our members are still in the dark when it comes to critical information about how the new Border Target Operating Model is to work,” said the group’s head of trade, Nichola Mallon.

Triple Yawn

Brexit’s Lasting Damage Is Looking Inescapable

By almost every economic and financial measure, parting ways with the EU almost eight years ago has been disastrous for the UK. Is there no end in sight

I’m getting bored now. What has this to do with the holiday rush?

yes, we have learnt it is true

yes we know poor Mottie still denies brexit is utterly sh1t

oh dear I wonder what this can be.....oh yes its operation Brock with long delays

"Ben Oswald, from the Isle of Man was heading to France for a week-long fishing trip. He had been queuing on the A20 for two hours with his son trying to enter the port - with another two hour wait expected before he can get through Border Control."

"Ferry passengers fume at claimed 90 minute waits to clear border controls"

Truth hurts eh.
What, the Queues at ports and airports at the start of the Easter and summer school holidays? Been going on since before Brexit was even a word. Nothing new at all. Why do you remainers have a scream up every time as if it’s a new, Brexit related event?

Your question has been answered by the people you asked to do so.

Quit moaning.

Not in the slightest. You lot normally scream "Brexit is at fault" at the start of busy holiday periods. They’ve always been busy holiday periods since people started going abroad for their holidays. Do you complain that the slopes are packed because of Brexit when there’s snow on them?

I’m surprised that the Frogs haven’t gone in strike yet too - they always tend to do that at peak times.

If you don't read the links, how can you assess they're irrelevant to Brexit?
It looks like simple denial, to me.
Close your eyes and everything is still there, they don't go away.

Ask these people what they think of the Brexit rules:

Passport rules: 'Escorted through the airport like a criminal'

Except that you'll refuse to read the article, in the hope that it doesn't exist.
