never seen a boxer get up from a knock out and then batter his opponent into submission then
No. A knock out is a knock out.

Either a poor analogy or you don't know what you're on about. I wonder what most people will think.

Even with the additional video, and before anyone starts I'm not for one sec condoning the actions of those who resisted the police, I would still assert on viewing the footage that the kick to the head was not required. The policeman snapped and did not operate within the scope of correct conduct. I'll repeat, I am not condoning the actions of those who fought and resisted.

Yes, and then an officer assaults one of them when he was lying face down on the floor after being tasered. Our police should be better than that.

Our police are not machines, they are human, with human feelings. He had just seen his collegues vicously attacked. I said I would reserve judgement until we knew more. Having seen more, I accept the copper was wrong for kicking a man already down, but who amonst us could control our feelings, in the heat of the moment, with what we saw, that went before?

Not easy, but that's the job they train to do, and most do it admirably. He could have cuffed him while he was incapacitated.

yep spend minutes cuffing him while his college gets the shyte kicked into them or even worse instead of being able to assist them

Well cuff him and assist his colleagues. What did a stomp in the head actually achieve? Diddly squat.
