Good news for UK

The usual response from a hardened U.K. hater.

I really don't get the logic, you like to discuss the failing asylum system so when that is mentioned by others they are uk haters?

Lets flip it - UK is brilliant then why did we need Brexit? Everything was going well why have Brexit?

If you start getting the symptoms of an illness that you know could possibly kill you, you go and get treatment for that before the condition gets out of control.

If the EU is such a great club to be in, why have more than half of the members got inflation rates higher than the UK?

So, it’s all about the money for you, is it? Would more money make you happier? Really?
It would make me happier if wealth was fairly distributed so that there weren't millions of people living in fuel and food poverty.

And then there's the millions of people just surviving with an come barely covering the monthly outgoings and the fear that they are maybe just 3 paycheques from being homeless.

Brexit hasn't helped it's exacerbated it... it has enabled more wealth to go to the wealthy.

Inflation in the UK at 6.7% again...

What about the rest of the G7?

US: 3.7% in September

Canada: 3.8% in September

Germany: 4.5% in September

France: +4.9% in September

Italy: +5.3% in September

Japan: +3.2% in August

Nothing to do with Brexit of course

Now you are saying it wasn't going well and the UK was getting sick - your words. So when you said everthing was brilliant was a lie then.

So these symptoms - what were they and how would they kill you? How do you know it was terminal?

So this treatment was what? How do you know the treatment worked?

So using your analogy you received treatment for an illness before it became terminal - and now you are better? Can you explain what is better?

What about the rest of the G7?
What about that country you are always putting up as a shining example? You know, the one you say your 'partner' came from, the one that wouldn’t let you emigrate there? How's inflation doing there?

Brexit. Most long term medicines take time to kick in as long as there are no other contributing factors. We've been held up by covid, the war and the general world recession. Don’t worry, it’ll all come good in the end.

So lets continue this analogy. Long term medicines take time to kick in? Are you confusing this with medicines that you are on for life?

So this medicine that hasn't kicked in yet - you cant tell me when it will kick in - just that you hope it will? After its kicked in will we need to stop it?

So no other country faced covid? No other country was effected by the War?

So if covid affected the country in very negative way - who was leading the country?

Every analogy you make you end up contradciting yourself or just making up something new to justify your point.
