How much would these jobs cost to do from a home buyer report ?

Notch. Houses were there before. They got knocked down after 9 years coz of the heave. Rebuilt “identically” then down again & rebuilt properly. Shambles.
Big houses as well. 5 bathrooms in each.

Used to see quite a few concrete floors suffering from sulphate attack around Marlow in Buckinghamshire. One must have lifted 50mm in the center of a large floor.

I see gosh, thats a massive failure

I wonder if it was a design fault or a construction fault.
Big sites get properly surveyed and almost always get a geological survey done, with soil testing etc.

If you are talking about floor heave then clearly they shouldve been block n beam.

Was staying there a couple of weeks ago. Went to The Ivy. Disappointed

Plus the ground heave could be a can of worms. I’ve seen houses demolished & rebuilt with that.

Speaking of ground heave , which I've just looked up what it means ha.
I've been reading through the survey again and it says all ground floors are uneven , but particularly the living room . Also some of the internal doors don't close properly In the frames , so this could indicate movement ?
But he did say on the phone the floors could be due to poor workmanship or the materials reacting with each other because of what they used in the late 60s.

Also if neighbouring houses were same age/design, check with them if they have had issues.

Structural Surveyer specialising in that field I reckon.

Went to the house again on Saturday to meet the seller there and her son , and noticed a stepped crack going from under the bathroom window to about just a few bricks up from the rear door / kitchen window area .
Could this be subsidence and something to do with the concrete ground floors in the house suffering from ground heave , I noticed when I walked out of the kitchen into the hall like walking to the front door I felt like I walked up a little ramp like the floor went upwards a little bit
