On this subject I've had newsfeeds suggesting that the Butterfly plant is just as much a problem as the knotweed.


Anyone know anything about it?

It looks like enchanter's nightshade. You'll know when it flowers. Definitely not JK, H Balsam or Ground Elder.
 
...or mint family (so related to basil). If it's in the mint family it should have a square stem
