Israel under attack

Looks like Lebanon has reacted more strongly to an Israeli strike

The Lebanese Hizballah (LH) has claimed responsibility for a missile attack in Aramsha, Western Galilee, wounding 14 people on April 17. Two of the victims are believed to be in critical condition. Initially, the number of wounded individuals was reported at six. The LH has stated that the attack was in response to Israel's targeted strikes in Kfar Dounine and Ain Baal, Lebanon, April 16, which killed at least two LH prominent commanders.
Further cross-border violence is likely over the coming hours and days.
Heightened security and disruptions to transport and business are likely in the affected area over the coming hours.

There are various figures around on the number of Israeli injured and some mention soldiers.

Israel may have retaliated with a strike 100km into Lebanon. They seem to have been winning the distance race before this event. Previous reports mentioned both sides were trying not to annoy the other side too much.

Don't know where they came from. I just know once there was only palestine.

You need to do more research!

Palestine’

In AD 135, following a failed Jewish revolt, Roman Emperor Hadrian expelled the Jews from Jerusalem and decreed that the city and surrounding territory be part of a larger entity called “Syria-Palestina.” “Palestina” took its name from the coastal territory of the ancient Philistines, enemies of the Israelites (ancestors of the Jews).

Why did the Romans rename the area Syria Palestina.

If there isn't an exact science, how can there possibly be and exact History.

It's all opinions & bias based on stories.

The root of the name Palestine comes from Peleset and Philistine i think.
The Peleset and the Philistines were an ancient people of Canaan.
These peoples assimilated into the existing tribes of Cannan, the ancestors of modern Palestinians.
The Jews, according to the Bible were not indigenous to Canaan, they established a Kingdom there in much the same way as modern Israel was created.
Outside of the Bible there is little evidence that the Kingdom of Israel as described in the old testament ever existed.

Europe Australasia. The USSR. The moon and parts of Africa, and Bradford.

You had to be top of the game to survive in them times.

But non of it is facts.

Plenty of meaningless waffle today, trying to distract attention from Israel's genocide of Palestinians.

Filly and Bod think it's funny.
