Knife crime in London, another 4 dead.

Politics doesnt work like that.

Iraq was seen as a justified war, it certainly had the qualities to create plenty of patriotic support.

Saudi is a nice rich country that the West does lots of business with..........
Why was the Iraq war seen as a justified war in retaliation for 9/11 if as we now know that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11.
Saddam Hussein was a regional dictator and maybe a threat to his neighbours of which Israel is one.
Rather than go after the real culprits behind 9/11 the hawks in the American administration used the catastrophe as an excuse to take out a thorn in the side of America and Israel.

It was seen as a just war. Iraq was run by a dictator that invaded its neighbours, gassed its people and threatened it had chemical warfare.

And Iraq has oil.

And Iraq didnt have huge contracts with the West, Saudi did and still does.

Nobody is trying to stop the war in Yemen at the moment........

It also depends who is supporting the "other side". Almost half a million people killed in Syria during the 8 years of war. But with Russia and Iran supporting the government, it got a bit too tricky to be involved so we made our excuses and backed off.

George Bush Jnr. wanted to finish the job of George Bush Snr. when Iraq invaded Kuwait.

Oh, and now they control the oil.

WARNING

BLACK HUMOUR COMMENT

NOT FOR THE EASILY OFENDED.

Could it be that to a racist, any Arab will do? And any excuse?

But especially an Arab sitting on a big reserve of oil or any other large, natural resource coveted by the West.
Given that the 'west' appears to include Israel, would that explain why Gaza has been denied being a part of a two state solution?

Namely the Gaza Marine gas field!
