Last chance….

I hear alot of areas didnt even have a Reform candidate to vote for. Despite that it seems they did well, the numbers do not represent the 4 seats they gained, more votes than LD. If Reform had proportional representation that would be 93 seats.

Reform may get one more seat according to Farage - a recount, Seems so far margin ~100 seats

They won that one. Candidates - loads and loads of them. Pretty sure one for each seat.

If Labour make any meaningful inroads into immigration Reform is toast. There will be no 'next time' for them, their racist raison d'etre will have vanished. They have no other platform.

The visa ones are the problem and this makes things tough for any party. There are several types of visa each for specific areas, Say fruit pickers, health area, student and "work in general".

The entry rules have been tightened up. This will cause a drop. The part that may not be in law is a vote in the house for how many entries will be allowed in each category each year to regulate it. Why?

Take fruit pickers. Currently the growers say that the allowance isn't high enough and that is wasting product. It's a seasonal job not idea for our own people.

Health. Carers and nurses etc, We need more. Training our own takes time.

Students etc. They pay more than our own do. Particularly to universities. Extra income for them over and above what they get from our own. Talk of them going broke - currently I suspect that is a forecast rather than a fact.

The main changes relate to the ability to support themselves including any family. Past that would mean looking at each category.

LOL Now what is Farage going to do about that quickly? Fact is things are in place to improve things but it will take time.
