Use a device which does not have such a small screen that the amount of information it can display is seriously restricted.

Why would I do that? I like to have a look in on things on my breaks. I've managed to do this perfectly well on a small screen for years. Perhaps you should get with the modern era. I carry a small computer which can also do phone calls. You should try it. You might like the convenience it offers.

On my iPad the last poster was there, but on my phone it doesn't show, even in landscape.

The layout is better for mobile devices, but the last poster is good to have.

Well I look on a proper desktop with 23" screen or at worst a laptop with a 15" screen.

Those who must use little apples should expect something might be missing!
