As is agile who thinks that in the days of mobile devices that because he's ok then we should expect a poorer service.

Well I look on a proper desktop with 23" screen or at worst a laptop with a 15" screen.

Those who must use little apples should expect something might be missing!

Not all of us want to sit in front of a PC to post on a forum. It's a choice we make, Apple or not. For forum and web designers to adjust layouts and css to suit phones and tablets, there must be a demand.

Why would I do that?
Because you find the use of an insufficiently capable device to be unsatisfactory.

I like to have a look in on things on my breaks.
I do hope you have never advised me to "get a life".

I've managed to do this perfectly well on a small screen for years.
Things change.

Perhaps you should get with the modern era.
Perhaps you should get with the concept of things being fit for purpose.

I carry a small computer which can also do phone calls. You should try it. You might like the convenience it offers.
So do I, so I am fully aware of the fact that the small display size will sometimes make it inappropriate for doing things which can be done OK using a computer with a larger display.

This issue was raised weeks ago, it's odd it's still not been attended to, like it or not a lot of people use mobile devices nowadays,
And over 70 million people who do not know her think that 140-character opinions and pronouncements from Katy Perry have importance in their lives. The fact that a lot of people do something does not, per se, make it a rational thing do do.

If people want to use a mobile device that's fine, but they have to accept that it has limitations.

BAS, you're still a muppet.
We would probably not be surprised to learn that you have that opinion of anybody who is better at thinking than you.

It's a new generation. Just because you're old fashioned and don't do something, it doesn't mean that people who understand the modern world are wrong.

You don't like it 70 million people do, but you're the one who's right. Doesn't seem a particularly rational point of view to me.

Let me guess?
King muppet-knows-less-than-he-thinks is wittering on about people liking or lumping it on a mobile device, even though part of the reason for the forum updateupdates is to better cater for mobile devices.

Bet I'm right, you didn't even need to read some people's ramblings sometimes :D

I'm not.

and don't do something
I don't not do things because they are new. It's often because they are stupid things to do.

it doesn't mean that people who understand the modern world are wrong.
Just because people do things which are "modern" that does not mean that they are either right or have any understanding.

I was going to ask you to make a rational case for anybody who does not know Katy Perry, or Justin Bieber, or.. or.. or.. to care what they think about anything.

But the point is not to have a go at the twits who do care what total strangers think about trivia - if they want to waste their lives like that that's their business.

My point was that in a world where hundreds of millions of people do care about the random thoughts of strangers it's not valid to say that because lots of people do or want something that the something is of any real value or importance. It might be, but the support alone does not necessarily make it so.
