Last night, a large group of youths looted and smashed shops in the town centre, and on the high street too.

It was a strange scene because you had members of the hard right hurling bricks at the police, then families all wearing England tops cheering them along.

I saw babies in pushchairs, very small children on the march, and scores of teenagers, young boys and girls, all dressed up to their nines, out on a Friday, just looking for a bit of excitement.

There was some well-known figures from far-right groups in attendance too.

Youngsters in balaclavas were coordinated, gathering missiles to throw at police officers.




Nothing to do with support for those killed and injured. Its political, right wing inspired, CRIME

Nothing to do with politics for the majority of them. It’s just out and out crime. I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, the police need to go in hard and crack some skulls. What have the police done to be under such attacks - those throwing bricks at them would be the first to call for them if they were under attack.

I suppose for the average feral teenager, it’s easier and more tempting to take part in a riot where there may be a chance of a spot of looting.

I recall them riots in London a while back

The Turks ( bussiness owners) got organised to protect thete premises base ball bats and balaclavas ;) Good for them
