I started this thread to see what people thought about man made climate change might not be all it appears to be and offered man altering the weather might be contributing in some way. Example being the torrential rain in Australia highlighted in this thread, that got shouted down in the article and the conspiracy theory nutjobs were sidelined as .........conspiracy theory nutjobs. Far better to put it down to the man made climate change our leaders and eminent scientists would have us believe, no boat rocking allowed eh.

That must be a comfort knowing that they can keep the detached house, feed the kids, run two electric cars have special dispensation to fly abroad for two holiday a years, if they follow orders from our leaders and promote climate change, their futures are safe.
Better than the alternative in questioning the science and frozen out of job prospects and getting cancelled.

I prefer to hear science from scientists than alternate views from conspiracy theorists.

But whatever floats your boat. I think it makes your comments more than a little suspect.

Imagine if you were wrong, if that were true would you be describing yourself? How would you be any different. It's not as if you've provided any detail to back up your points.

I'm willing to listen to alternative theories, but there just aren't any to describe the current, unprecedentedly rapid rate of heating.

You not received the memo? The proles will be living in back to back terraces reminiscing of going on holiday abroad. Remembering how they could go the length and breadth of the country by car.
Now in 2030 whilst sharing an insect buttie dressed in sackcloth and looking for that last log to throw on the dying embers, it will not dawn on them they've been shafted, the covid injections will have put paid to that.
Remember your booster in October, there's good chaps.

You can see about 1/3 the way up the cliff the remains of a beach - rounded stones etc that show the sea level many millennia ago before we escaped from Africa. Not really, there isn't really a 'normal' level in geological terms. The earth's plates move up and down as well as moving around, smashing each other into other shapes and being rammed over the top of each other.

There are also geological era variations of temperature. Over a period of thousands or millions of years tiny percentage changes of plant cover and atmospheric makeup can lead to increased or decreased temperature. That then causes changes in sea level. In geological terms that means there's no 'normal' in any real sense.

seriously think the covid injections are for mind altering control? They weren't and still aren't compulsory you know.

what on earth that has to do with climate change, well only you can connect those dots

Emily Maitles's comment was about economists supporting or opposing Brexit.

But the whole speech by Emily is well worth watching. She deals with numerous news item covered in the last few years.
She also discusses 'both-side'ism' also known as faux equivalence.

Learn how to use the quote button. FFS it's hard to take you seriously as the ultimate source of truth when you're too thick to be able to use one of the three methods (or more) to quote someone
 
When my post follows the one I'm replying to I don't feel the need to use the quote button.
If your a bit thick and you can't work that out I don't know where the fault lies. You being a bit thick or me expecting too much

It's this sort of sloppy arrogance that would make you an awful scientist. Or gas fitter. Doing things the right way every time is the only way to make sure you get it right when it matters.
