MDF: How dangerous?

one off my local woodyards[timber store] advertises 10x5 sheets in there sheet material booklet but dont generaly have it in stock
as for lifting it 18mm 8x4 sheet is heavy enough one handed would think you need an octopus or two to lift a 10x5 x2" sheet
 
An 8' x 4' sheet of 9mm mdf weighs 20 kgs. By my reckoning a 10' x 4' sheet of 50mm mdf would weigh nearly 140 kgs, or 308 lbs. Personally I have never yet met an octopus that could lift this.

Incidentally, if you buy a pack of 8' x 4' mdf apparently it always weighs 1.6 tonnes.
