They will remain financially stable if they cut around £40m in costs a year or increase income by 20%. Unfortunately the cost of generating income is going up. So allowing for that, it needs to be closer to 25%+.

I can think of a real easy way for them to do this without damaging the vital service they provide in U.K. coastal and inland waters.

Recent massive TV campaigns for donations smacks of desperation. I'm not convinced of the claim donations had doubled as a result of them providing a taxi service for migrants.
