The UK is the fourth biggest exporter NOW, irrespective of what was going on in 2018. All nations have experienced inflation and economic contraction since 2018. But relative to them all, the UK is now the 4th largest exporter, having overtaken Japan and France. This is excellent news and we are probably benefiting from better trading arrangements now that we are not stuck in the closed shop dead zone that is the EU.

Ps. London is one of three global capitals in the world for AI. The EU has been scrambling to control and ban its development - meaning the EU has no innovation in this area. Good job we left!

Last month's Office for National Statistics report said this was primarily because of falling imports and exports of fuels.
