Move on quickly nothing to see here

We do indeed. The numbers are mainly fluffed out by 'financial services'. Did you read the whole headline grabbing article? It's just a blip and The Wail have been waiting to pounce on it.

Lol.
Services as a whole.

High margin, high skill, high value.

Would you prefer that we were world leader in exporting turnips or trashed our air quality making steel products?

No.
I'm saying those numbers can quickly peak (and trough) owing to the volatility and inconsistent nature of services export numbers.
The article even states so itself. Its a Wail-esque non story. The most telling part is they've even admitted its a blip, lol.

more power and wealth concentrated in the South East

I’m sure the Brexit voters in the industrial North are well pleased :ROFLMAO:

Is the typical Brexit voter better off as a result of brexit?
A = no, worse.

I made some nice hay. But I'm not the typical Brexit voter according to the remainers. I'm under 55, have a university education, my skin isn't pink and I don't hate foreigners. I did and do think the EU is a corrupt cess pit full of lobbyists, that has lost its original mandate asnd is well past its sellby date.

I don't fully support them, I just don't fancy the alternative. I do not think Sunak deserves to be PM and I think the party should have had a replacement lined up before ditching Boris. He handed them the best victory over Labour for decades and they have literally thrown it away.

All Starmer has to do is say very little and smile and he's in.

Care to walk us through the "how"?

Labour will:
- Smash the criminal gangs by using counter-terror style tactics - strengthening powers and using the full force of Britain’s intelligence and policing to destroy the evil business model of human trafficking.
- Deploy more police and investigators in a Cross-Border Police Unit to go after the smuggler and trafficking gangs who undermine our border security and put lives at risk.
- Set up a 1,000 strong Returns Unit to ensure failed asylum seekers and others with no right to be here are removed.
- End hotel use for asylum seekers by clearing the asylum backlog with more staff to process claims and return people to safe countries.

Lets explore how this will work for example?

How do we smash criminal gangs operating in France and Turkey?
Have these countries agreed to allow our police jurisdiction?
The issue is not who should go back, but sending them back.
sounds like rubber stamping the illegals.

Some of it is how money is spent. Sending back needs initial vetting and costs of sending back. If the backlog remains it remains. There is also a need to catch up in terms of more recent ones. Something Sunak has hid. There are only limited ways of fixing that. More people handling it.

I've mentioned interest international aspects before so wont again.

We do have our own counter terror departments that actually have experience on how to use that aspect.

not to mention that the criminals tell the illegals to throw everything in the sea that can be used to ID them.
