I need to sort out my gear, I have a Linn LP12 + Naim pre/power amplifier set up….which has been in the loft for 15 years.

I have a couple of hundred LPs left, some are Decca original boxed sets from the 1950s and 1960s which my Dad collected.

This thread has reminded me I need to sell it all…..

I own around 200 albums on vinyl., Those bought between '75 & 81 just can't listen to - just two many memories.
Bought the 'Big Stiff' box set - couldn't get past the first Ian Dury track - packed them away and never tried again.
But I own over 500 albums on CD but their not the same as vinyl, miss the big sleeve to hold and pour over (remember Hypnogis sleaves?) .

Started to complete my '70's prof rock collection some years ago - the records I'd never bought but meant to and then of all things really started to listen to 'Northern Soul' rather than antiseptic 'Radio 1' soul as pushed by Tony Blackhead.

Music is good for memories both good and bad.
