Looking good Mottie, nice clean working space too
Clean working space for the first time since I started it! I even put some fresh floor protector down after last nights tidy-up - the old stuff had disintegrated.Looking good Mottie, nice clean working space too
LoL. That window was fitted only yesterday and replaced the one that was there, like for like. The old one had a couple of blown units and had never been opened in 25 years! We replaced it as it was a different style from the rest of the house. We were even contemplating just having a single fixed pane but thought it might look odd.Have you thought about replacing that window with one that has full length top hung openers? Just thinking that having the handle at the bottom makes them easier to open when reaching over the worktop.
Even betterer, just had my refund from AO and they’ve given me a bit more than the £50 I claimed. Who am I to argue?Even better, I saw it £50 cheaper elsewhere, filled in the price match form this morning and just received this:

No change in price with the one I saw but someone else has them on sale at £100 cheaper than AO but I think for a tenner, I won’t push my luck. With most retailers not having them in stock, I’m just glad to have one.good result , i dont suppose its now £90 price difference ?
I did the first time round, 25 years ago. This time Mrs Mottie wanted it done properly. Bloke only took a couple of hours and did a nice job.@Mottie
Did you put the window in yourself?
