Nest - No power to existing thermostat

if it was me doing it, I would leave boiler pump, motorised valves all wired as is, leave cyl thermostat wired as is, leave LN&E supply as is and remove everything else and wire the nest in, easy job when you have done it a few times, hate trying to follow others wiring, and remember colours mean nothing, although yours looks like it has been pretty well done using sleeving to indicate wiring functions, if you do that all you need is LN&E connected between the two, SL from CH on and HW on to corrosponding Browns on the zone valves then T1 & T2 connected at each end, simple as that , you might still need to link out the existing room thermostat , just removing it will leave an open circuit

Just a quick update - thanks so much for your help - Its all working now. I moved the Heat Link next to the wiring centre and traced each wire to each pump and valve. The diagram i followed was a good guide but wasn't 100% true for anyone reading this in the future.

One cable from the Heat Link goes to the terminals in the wiring centre and the other goes to the existing wiring going to the stat in the living room. I had to move one wire from the switched live from the stat to permanent live to keep the circuit.

Thanks for the update @Murrell, not everyone reports back. Good to hear you figured it out and is all up and running.
