Lol Isar still works, all you have to do is repressurise central heating every week, covered the PCB with cling film.

Managed to find someone local; hopefully the install should be this week.

I'm not an Ideal fan by any stretch of the imagination. But it seems they have pulled their socks up since the Isar. Just make sure every i is dotted and every to crossed for the warranty.

I'm not going to comment on the boiler itself as I haven't seen one.

Not the new Modena, they are not. The Modena has a stainless steel heat exchanger, Honeywell pcb & gas valve and Wilo pump. Only four moving parts with a superb DHW delivery.
