Oil boiler lockout - could it be fuel starvation?

Check the vacuum pressure when running this will show if it is blocked oil line/ starvation.
If this OK
I would try a new pump solenoid. But if it is a danfoss pump and it is not a bio version then change it
 
I've been following your problem with interest and wondered if the root cause had been found.
I thought the pump solenoid seemed the most likely, but that has already been changed.
