Is the RTB discount up to 70%? Yes or no.
It's subject to more conditions than that, but it is max 70%.Yes, but subject to a cap.
They are still occupied by someone who qualified for social housing. Saying they disappear is dishonest. The disappear from the social housing pool. Saying they don't is being dishonest.
They are not available for social tenants. They are lost to the social housing asset base.Saying they disappear is dishonest.
Lost did someone knock them down? You know they didn't.About £5000 for each RTB lost. Can you build a house for £5k?
I wonder if the needy, destitute, people on minimum wage, homeless, disabled people and their full-time carers, or young parents on zero-hours contractsThey are still occupied by someone who qualified for social housing. Saying they disappear is dishonest.
I also like the idea of councils building homes, selling them after renting them for a few years, to needy people and using the profits to build more.
You know they are lost as social rented properties. You know they didn't.
Someone with more money than sense can get a relative to buy a RTB then transfer ownership to them. Lost to the social housing pool forever...They are still occupied by someone who qualified for social housing
Why would they knock them down?Lost did someone knock them down?
They are still occupied by someone who qualified for social housing.
But some think it is impossible to get the max discount.Yes, but subject to a cap.
Nobody is getting 70% discount
Are they still available to rent out by the council? You know they are notLost did someone knock them down? You know they didn't.
You are still not getting your head around the rules.Someone with more money than sense can get a relative to buy a RTB then transfer ownership to them. Lost to the social housing pool forever...
