Porcelain slabs on dry sand and cement mix?

A follow up question for you guys (who have been really useful so far!).

I’ve now taken up the slabs and have put to one side ready to be laid again in due course (ergh!). I’m in the process of breaking up the cured dry mortar mix to expose the Type1 sub base again (which as you can imagine, isn’t much fun!), my questions is, is there anything I can do with this stuff I’m taking out? Can it be used for anything at all or is it straight in the bin?

If the latter, how is best to dispose of it? Does it need a skip?

If you are doing more building work, it can be used as hardcore.

If not, it's not much use for anything else, so you can: take it to the local tip, pile it somewhere accessible and get a grab lorry or get a skip.
